On the 1 May at 11pm I set of to climb Mount Tai with a Chinese couple I have met in the Hostel. We had 1300 Meters in height difference to climb. After around 4 hours we have reached the top (accompanied by 1 trillion other people) and waited for an hour to see the sunrise. The not so spectacular sunrise left us wondering why we climbed Mount Tai – if not to buy souvenirs at one of the countless shops a long the steep hike.
